Manufacturing areas

The boatyard situated in Southeast Asia (in Ho Chi Minh City) is spread over an area of 1000 sqm by a branch of the Saigon River. Heat sensitive materials are stored in air-conditioned premises with regulated temperatures. The manufacturing of different parts such as the hull, partitions, superstructure etc. takes place in areas with regulated temperature and relative humidity control. Pre-mounting of main parts (hulls, superstructure), boat building and waterproof tests are executed in the indoor shop. Temperature and humidity are monitored during the whole manufacturing process. After the completion new catamarans are subject to an on-the-water test in the South China Sea.

Manufacturing materials

Our company uses only certified materials of the highest quality for manufacturing, supplied by world renowned manufacturers and suppliers (e.g. we purchase materials from the following suppliers - resin from Reichhold from UAE, PVC foam from DIAB or AIREX, glass fabric from KROSGLASS). After an agreement with our customer and after technological tests, it is also possible to build a boat or its individual parts from different materials. Manufacturing technologies

Panels are manufactured by using a special technology called resin infusion. Panels and hull(s) are made of PVC foam sandwich panels using the KSS method. For manufacturing we often use more environmentally friendly materials such as polyester and vinyl ester resins, if not specified otherwise by the customer. We strictly follow the design methods and recommendations given to us by the manufacturers and raw material suppliers, as well as the technological procedures, of the KSS method. Monitored data (i.e. temperature, humidity, specific times of individual technologic procedures etc. are recorded during manufacturing so that every panel has its own “birth certificate”. The information about the piece is filed for the following 12 months after the expiration of the warranty period and consequently either discarded or handed over to the boat owner.

Certification

All yachts are certified depending on the purpose for which they are designed. Designs can be (upon customer´s request) accredited by companies such as SGS New Zealand, Det Norske Veritasetc.

Engines

Our yachts are usually equipped with modern YANMAR diesel engines with CAN-BUS control systems, however at the request of our customer we are also able to mount engines supplied by different manufacturers.

Navigation equipment

There are many different manufacturers producing GPS, chart plotters, radars etc., and we install the equipment which is the most appropriate for the future owner. With regard to the location where the boats are built, we recommend the equipment supplied by ICOM or Furuno.
